L.E.G.O. ReaderTo practice reading at home I highly encourage your child to participate in our L.E.G.O. reader program. For each book your child reads they will fill out a reading response page and return them to their teacher. This program encourages children to read from a variety of genres. Below you will find the student tracker and response pages.
ReadingThis week, literature will help us take trips near and far. Our class will explore the question. "What are some different ways to travel?" We'll meet an adventurous pig and a cautious goat who have trouble agreeing on a way to travel in the fantasy story The Big Trip. Then we'll meet some real explores in the informational text Lewis and Clark's Big Trip.
